ಓ ಬಾನಾಡಿ
ಹಾರುವೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ?
ಕೇಳಿಲ್ಲಿ..
ಭುವಿಯಿದು
ಬಂಧನವಿಲ್ಲದ
ಬಾನಂಗಳವಲ್ಲ
ಸ್ವಚ್ಚಂಧ ತುಂಬಿದ
ಸಚ್ಚಿದಾನಂದವಲ್ಲ!!
ಭುವಿಯಿದು
ಜನರು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ
ಮುರಿವ ಮನೆಯಿಲ್ಲಿ
ಜನರಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೈತಳೆದ
ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ !!
ಮೇಲ್ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಟ
ಭೂತಾಯಿಯ ಚೆಲ್ಲಾಟ
ಭೂ ಗರ್ಭದೊಳಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಾಟ
ಧರೆಗೆ ಕಳೆಯಿಲ್ಲ
ಧರಣಿಯೋಡೆಯನ
ಈ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಗತಿಯಿಲ್ಲ !!!

great poem but u r telling that earth is having some restriction hw ?
and also "Banadi" also come to earth why the last line only for human beings ?

:-( i didn't get d head nor d tail in dis. Cud u pls help me understand d meanin of dis poem dear? for a matter of fact i was very good in kannada subject in my school days bt nw i feel i need 2 take lessons in kannada 4m u :-) Hope u don't mind takin tutions 4 me ;-)

here banadi is not exactly a bird but its mind just like free bird...
and the nature or situation decribed is comapred with life situation ..like whn person grows from child he ll be resticted .. has to bind with rules!!thts it..if u see in this way hope u may get the meaning of poem..
